Welcome to GoCodes! This video will show you how to set up and manage advanced permissions for a GoCodes user. Advanced permissions allow a GoCodes Admin user to configure which specific asset data fields a user can view and update. To make the set up easier, the GoCodes Admin user can copy the Advanced permissions settings from one user to another in a single step.
Here are the steps:
1) Once you have logged into GoCodes, click the top right menu drop down and select User Admin.
2) Select the user you want to work with and then click the Advanced Permissions button.
3) You will now see a pop up showing the list of data fields and whether the user can View or Update each of them
4) Simply adjust the settings by clicking the check boxes and when you are done, click Save
5) Once you have one user set up correctly, you can quickly copy their settings to another user by clicking the Copy from user button on the bottom left.
6) Pick the user you want to copy from. That’s it.
