Learn the Specific Capabilities of Each of the 5 User Roles

GoCodes has 5 different levels of role-based access. An account can assign any user to any role. The only fixed requirement is there must be one Admin user for the account.

Role Summary:

Public: You do not have a user role. However, you can scan a GoCodes QR code with any scanner app, view any information that has been made public by the organization (ID, Make, Model, Serial Number, Reward, Description) and you are able to send a secure message to all Admin users.

Read Only: You can log in and view all assets.

Asset Assigner: You have the same capability as the Read Only user. In addition, you can check assets in and out and use the Inventory feature in the mobile app.

Asset Manager: You have the same capability as the Asset Assigner user. You can also edit all asset information.

Admin: This Admin user is able to undertake the same tasks as the Asset Manager user. In additon, the Admin user can customize GoCodes, add users, edit users, view reports and deactivate assets.
