When you deactivate an asset from your GoCodes account, it's information is permanently deleted. However, all history of prior updates is retained in your Change History and can be viewed in the Change History report located in the Reports menu area.

Your change history will also record when an asset is deactivated and so you can search for deactivated assets and if needed reactivate them for use. You can use the Activate Asset feature in the main menu to do this.
